Sad news reached the Old Paradians Association and Football Club of the passing of Denis Toner.

Denis was a member of the Old Paradians' Football Club’s first Premiership-winning team in 1951 and spent time captaining the Reserves in the early 1960's. 

In the recent podcast series produced by the VAFA, Denis was mentioned alongside the likes of Phil McLaughlin, John Booth, and Jack Ryan. Obviously with a quick wit for a man of his years, he put his 90 years of longevity down to "footy and beer".

The Old Paradians' Association and Old Paradians' Football Club extend our condolences to Denis' family and friends at this time.
