Recently, Peter Johnston (1973) came back to his old school to have a look at our College Honour Boards proudly placed in the Hickey Foyer.

Peter was interested in getting an accurate picture of the significant contribution his father Kevin (1951) had made to the College and the Old Paradians' Association.

Peter hailed from Miranda Road in Reservoir and we were able to establish quite an amazing set of Parade College and Old Paradian facts that this part of the northern suburbs created.

Peter was President of the Old Paradians' Association from 1985-1987 and Secretary from 1982-1984, following in the footsteps of his father Kevin who was also President 1973-1975. Peter’s brother Paul was also Captain of the College and Athletics Captain in 1975.

Kevin will be posthumously awarded the Association’s prestigious Tenete award at the October Old Paradians' Association RACV Luncheon.

Just down the road, Lewis Derrico (1974) was raised. Lewis was also President of the Old Paradians' Association 2010-2019 playing an instrumental role in reinvigorating the Association after a period where there was no Association Committee. Lewis too was Captain of the College in 1974.
