Michael spoke for the group when he said Paul left an indellible mark on all who warmed to his fun-loving nature.

"'Fenno' was a happy larrikin. He seemed to love life and all of his mates," Michael said.

"He was front and centre for our 30-year reunion back in 2013, He had a great night and as always he was last to leave."

Old Paradians also in attendance included Leigh Bowman (1983), Russell Dickson (1981), Peter Dynes (1984), Jon Ellks (1984), Lawrence Roche (1983), John Rodgers (1983). David Miers (1976) was amongst those to pay tribute to Paul at the service.
