It was wonderful to meet Lizzie Kay, daughter of loyal Old Paradian Bill Dunne, when she returned to the College recently. Lizzie was accompanied by her son Luke.

Lizzie’s father Bill was Head Prefect (College Captain) in 1944, Tenete Award winner for outstanding service and Hall of Fame inductee.  Bill's loyalty to the College and Old Paradians' Association is unrivalled. 

It was wonderful for Lizzie to share Parade stories and events from Bill’s life in the presence of her son, while at the College. From images in College Reception, to a wall plaque where Bill opened the Rivergum Theatre, College Captain Honour Board, Old Paradians' Association Office Bearer Board and Bill’s Hall of Fame Panel; all symbols of his lifetime contribution. Lizzie proudly shared these with her son Luke.

We also discovered that Bill’s wife Joan designed our Old Paradians' Association logo in 1950 before she was even married to Bill!

Lizzie kindly donated to our Archives the microfiche films and reader Bill used to produce his comprehensive Directory of Old Paradians, first published in 1998.
