A small group of Old Paradian’s gathered at the Terminus Hotel in North Fitzroy recently. It marked 46-years since leaving the College. Matt Fleming with Damian Cosgriff have been active over the years in getting their classmates together. The most recent before this gathering was a 45-year gathering in 2023. Some attendees were retired, semi-retired with some still working full time.
Former College staff member Shane McCarthy and 1978 College Vice-captain who left the teaching profession in the late 80s spent much of his working life after Parade in overseas postings with Ford. He is now enjoying his retirement. Chris Ray has just finished long service leave after his roles as Principal of Our Ladies in Eltham and most recently St Mary’s in Thornbury. Chris Gilmour has had three sons attend Parade and is now retired, enjoying travel and grandfatherly duties. Peter Bentley still works full-time with extensive experience in mental health.
Staff members Mick Kennedy, John and Trish Joss, and John Nicholls were in attendance. John Ramsdale was a late apology.
Well done to Matt and Damian on your organisation. Those in attendance were most appreciative of the opportunity to catch up.
