Dear Old Paradians and friends of Parade,
On behalf of the Old Paradians’ Association Committee, I would like
to take this opportunity to wish you all a joyous, holy and festive
season and prosperous
New Year.
I would also like to thank you for helping make 2017 a truly productive year for us. It has been a fruitful and challenging time where much was achieved and much planned in advance of an historic 2018, which marks the 50th anniversary of the Bundoora Campus first opening its gates.
I would like to thank every member of the committee for their time and energy this year. It is a pleasure to be part of a committee whose aims are for the benefit of a community to which we all feel a genuine sense of belonging.
I thank Dr Denis Moore, for his commitment and energy which is much appreciated and valued.
Tony De Bolfo has been instrumental in linking human experiences through his story telling and presence within the Parade Community. I would also like to thank Tony for his unending support for the ‘purple, green and blue’ and it is with a sense of gratitude that we look forward to working with him in 2018.
Keep in your hearts and minds those members of our Paradian Community who are going through difficult times. There are a number of people within our community who need our ongoing prayers and support.
Once again, on behalf of the Old Paradians’ Association, I wish you all a safe, holy and relaxing Christmas and a wonderful 2018.
Sincerely,
Lewis Derrico
President, Old Paradians’ Association
