The Old Paradian's Association was very pleased to host the 10-year reunion for the class of 2014 at the E Bar, Old England Hotel.

Attendance was excellent with over 60 former students and staff in attendance. Each was given a small gift, and an OPA lapel Badge on arrival.

The room was full of talk, laughter and reminiscence. College Captain Eugene Pring spoke with great passion and appreciation for the College where lifelong friendships were formed. Eugene is a secondary school teacher and remains the only College Captain to start his Parade journey in Year 7 at our Preston Campus. 

Former staff members, David McGrath, who travelled down from Queensland, Craig Seckold and Jim Seymour were in attendance together with current staff members Ben Turner and Ivan Kummerle. Parade College Marketing and Communications Officer and 2014 graduate Peter Bonadio was also in attendance. The boys certainly appreciated having former teachers in attendance.

I was able to address the group about the goals of the Association, among others, providing opportunities for our former students to connect and some College developments and updates. It was a wonderful night night of celebration.
